Carolina Siding Company, got its start in 2012 in West End, NC, operating under a different name initially. However, the beginning starts long before that when owner, Jay Burns, was just a young boy.

Jay Burns is a Moore County native whose roots run deep in the construction trade. Growing up, Jay spent his days helping his dad build houses. From the day he could walk he was on the job site watching his dad and learning the “do’s and don’ts” of the trade. It was during his childhood that he learned the importance of quality work, a well-maintained job site and the value of good relationships. He also developed an eye for picking out products that not only enhance a home’s beauty but also add value.

Over the years, Jay developed a passion for selecting and installing exterior home products, such as siding and windows, and doing custom carpentry work. His talent for woodworking and creativity glowed brighter and brighter with every job.

In 2009 Jay went to work for another siding and window contractor. After 3 years Jay realized he wanted to start his own company focusing on exterior home design as a siding and windows contractor and doing custom wood work. Since its inception, Carolina Siding Company has continued to grow and evolve. Today, Carolina Siding Company is one of the most reputable siding and window replacement contractors in the Sandhills area.
